2. Collection and processing of your data

In order to use our website, it is generally not necessary for you to provide personal data.

When you visit our web pages, we only process the data that your internet browser automatically transmits to us, such as:

  • Date and time of the retrieval of one of our internet pages
  • Your browser type
  • the browser settings
  • the operating system used
  • the last page you visited
  • the amount of data transferred and the access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.) as well as
  • your IP address.

We process these data in order to enable the use of the internet pages you access and to check whether our web pages are properly displayed for you. We only use the IP address for the duration of your visit and store the data for logging purposes only in anonymized form by shortening the IP address so that an identification is no longer possible. The processing is carried out on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR (balancing of interests, based on our interest to display our website to you reliably and if possible without defects).

3. Use of service providers and data transfer to third parties

In order to provide this website and for the aforementioned purposes, your data may be passed on to technical service providers that support us (e.g. website hosting). We have carefully selected these service providers and commissioned them in writing. The service providers are bound by our instructions and are regularly monitored by us.

Your data will otherwise only be passed on to other third parties if this is expressly stated in this data protection declaration or if we are legally obliged to do so.

4. Your rights

You have the right to request confirmation from us as to whether personal data relating to you are being processed; if this is the case, you have a right to information about these personal data and the information listed in detail in Art. 15 GDPR.

You have the right to demand that we correct any inaccurate personal data concerning you and, if necessary, complete any incomplete personal data without delay (Art. 16 GDPR).

You have the right to demand that we delete personal data relating to you without delay, provided that one of the reasons listed in detail in Art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data are no longer required for the purposes pursued (right to erasure).

You have the right to demand that we restrict processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR applies, e.g. if you have objected to the processing, while we review this request.

You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. We will then no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (Art. 21 GDPR).

You have the right to receive from us the data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format. You may transfer these data or have them transferred to other entities (right to data portability).

Please contact info@ssh-law.de to exercise your rights.

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR (Article 77 GDPR). You may assert this right before a supervisory authority in the Member State of your residence, workplace or the place of the alleged infringement. In Bavaria, the competent supervisory authority is: Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision, P.O. Box 1349, 91504 Ansbach, www.lda.bayern.de.

5. Data security

Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
